Haines, Alaska - Chilkat River - November 2001

Every year in November 2000-4000 bald eagles converge on a three mile stretch of the Chilkat river in Alaska.  This year we were there, freezing body parts off while shooting over 30 rolls of images of the eagles and beautiful countryside.  Here's the sampling of what I ended up with.  I've scanned them all full-frame so you might need to look closely for some of the eagles.  The ones I end up printing will of course be cropped appropriately and I'll post those when I'm done with that process.
